We return your sharp knives, collect the loaner set, and charge your card. Simple as that — and you only pay once the job is done.

Cancel subscription
A few things to know before you cancel.
Your next scheduled visit (Tue, June 3) will be cancelled with no charge — you're only charged after knife return, and no future visits will be booked.
Any loaner knives currently with you must be returned within 3 days. We'll coordinate a pick-up.
You can reactivate or book a one-time visit anytime.

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of knife sharpening and related services ("Services") provided by Upshout LLC, operating as Sharven ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a service, creating an account, or using the Services in any way, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
Sharven provides professional knife sharpening services on a subscription or one-time basis. Our standard service includes pick-up of your knives, overnight sharpening (24–48 hour turnaround), and return delivery. A premium loaner set is provided during the sharpening period at no additional charge.
Services are currently available in selected zip codes in the Princeton and Pennington, NJ area. We reserve the right to expand, modify, or restrict our service area at any time with reasonable notice.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
No charge is collected at time of booking. Your card is saved securely via Stripe and charged automatically 3 days after your first pickup. Subscription plans renew automatically on a monthly or biweekly basis. Add-on services (additional knives, scissors) are charged to your card on file after your service visit.
Loyalty benefit: Subscribers who maintain continuous active subscriptions receive their 12th month of service at no charge, applied automatically.
Appointments are scheduled based on route availability. We will make reasonable efforts to honour your preferred time window (morning or afternoon). You may reschedule a visit with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal or by contacting support@upshout.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period. One-time service bookings are non-refundable once a pick-up has been completed.
You retain ownership of your knives at all times. You acknowledge that sharpening is a material-removal process and that repeated sharpening over time will reduce blade width — this is inherent to the service. We will exercise reasonable professional care in handling your knives. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions present before pick-up.
A premium loaner knife set is provided for use during the sharpening period. You agree to use the loaner equipment with reasonable care and return it promptly when your sharpened knives are delivered. You are responsible for any damage to loaner equipment beyond normal wear. Lost or unreturned loaner knives will be charged at replacement cost.
Sharpened knives are inherently sharp instruments. You assume full responsibility for the safe use, handling, and storage of all knives — both your own and any loaner equipment — once they are in your possession.
SAFE HANDLING & UNPACKING: WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, HARM, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM ANY HANDLING OF KNIVES AT ANY POINT AFTER DELIVERY OR DROP-OFF, INCLUDING INJURY SUSTAINED DURING UNPACKING OR USE.
Our team will pick up and return knives at your specified address. If you choose to arrange an unattended door drop-off, your knives are considered to be in your possession from the moment they are placed at your door. We will make reasonable efforts to document delivery with a photograph.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, THEFT, DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO AN UNATTENDED DROP-OFF FROM THE MOMENT KNIVES ARE PLACED AT YOUR DOOR.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Upshout LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Mercer County, New Jersey.
